Behind Cells

Life within bars ain't no breeze. It's a world of muted concrete and metal, where time crawls by at the pace of a sloth. The days merge together, marked only by a chorus of of locks and barbaric voices inmates.

Each day is a struggle to survive, to find purpose in a place where outside seems like a dreamy memory. The air is thick with tension, and the shadows hold lies.

But, even amidst these brutal conditions, there's a resilient spirit that persists. A sense of community, forged in the crucible of common struggle, and a burning desire for something more.

A few inmates attempt to better themselves. They study, they express themselves through art, and they create bonds with others who have been there.

Walls of Regret

Regret can sometimes manifest itself mentally as walls we build around ourselves. These walls are not made of brick and mortar, but rather of past prison hurts. They shield us from pain.

We may erect these walls as a coping strategy. But over time, they can become restrictive, preventing us from moving on. Breaking down these walls of regret is a challenging process, but it is also essential for growth.

Existence Within

Life within a bustling city can be both thrilling and overwhelming. The constant activity of people and traffic creates a unique atmosphere. Every street holds the potential for discovery, from hidden cafes to vibrant street art.

Yet, amidst the bustle, there's also a feeling of community. Strangers often interact in passing, and local businesses foster a sense of connectedness. In the end, life inside can be a truly fascinating experience.

This concrete labyrinth

The town's heart beats with a relentless rhythm. Gray skyscrapers pierce the smoggy sky, their shadows stretching like grasping fingers. The concrete pathways are packed with a sea of individuals, each rushing toward an unseen destination. The air itself vibrates with the energy of millions living, working, and dreaming within this concrete cage. Even the sounds are a cacophony—a chorus of car engines mixed with the distant chatter of everyday life.

Belief on Lockdown

The world senses different these days. Walls which once divided us now appear to surround us, and the familiar rhythms of life have been shifted into a disjointed pattern. Yet, even in this uncertain landscape, there persists a flicker. A tiny ember of belief that refuses to be dampened.

It resides in the small acts of kindness, in the shared experiences of isolation, and in the gentle strength we find within ourselves. This hope is not a denial of the challenges we face, but rather a resolve to survive through them, together.

It reminds us that even in lockdown, our connections endure.

The Price of Freedom

True freedom is a precious and often cherished gift. Yet, its maintenance demands a lasting commitment. We must be prepared to contribute our time, assets, and even at times our safety to safeguard its permanent existence. This is the true price we pay for the honor of living in a free society.
